Musafir ("the app", "we", "us") is a music player for Android. This policy explains what data the app and the services it uses handle, and your choices. By using Musafir you agree to this policy.
Musafir does not require you to sign in or create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or other personal information on our own servers. We do not run our own analytics.

Your choices: If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, Musafir shows a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) so you can choose whether your data is used for personalised ads. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, on most Android phones), which limits ad personalisation. Where required, you can reopen Google's consent form from About Musafir → Manage advertising privacy choices inside the app.
The app connects to the internet to fetch the song list and to stream audio. Standard network requests may reveal your device's IP address to the servers hosting the music, which is inherent to how streaming works.
If you use the "Phone songs" feature, Musafir requests permission to read audio files on your device only so it can list and play them locally. These files are never uploaded, stored on our servers, or shared. They stay on your device.
Musafir is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we do not operate accounts or our own analytics, we do not retain personal data about you. Ad-related data is retained and secured by Google according to its policies.
Musafir is a music player only. It does not own or claim rights to the songs it plays; all music and related rights belong to their respective owners. If you are a rights holder and believe content infringes your copyright, contact us for prompt removal (usually within 72 hours).
We may update this policy as the app changes. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
